Members in attendance: Kari Mitchell, Jon Sedey, Susan Dougherty, Rick Fletcher, Steve Skramstad, Lori Bona. Absent: Janice Sandberg, Dave Rand

1. Call to Order and Roll Call – Board chair Sedey called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.

2. The board received a copy of a letter from director Barbara Mahowald regarding the recent dangerous weapons incident.

3. Community comment – The board heard comments from Odyssey community members Lori and Jay Cowles about the recent dangerous weapons incident at the school and about the leadership of the school.

4. Discussion of leadership: Steve Dess was unable to attend as scheduled. There was discussion among board and staff members about the leadership configurations for next year.

5. There was discussion among the board and staff members and those community members present about the recent dangerous weapons incident. Concerns were raised about the safety of the students at the school and about how the incident was handled by leadership.

6. The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
