Administrator's Report
August 21, 2002

Lease Updates:

We have been experiencing some additional delays with the full execution of the sublease agreement with ExCell Academy. The attorney for Zane Business Center required a signed Consent to Lease agreement, along with the Fifth Addendum to the lease. ExCell Academy expressed their dissatisfaction with language in the Consent Agreement and refused to sign until the reservations were worked out. The final outcome is still pending.

Odyssey administration and Osseo administration met with Imani Family Services to continue discussion about location of their program. Orchard Lane as well as 6510 Zane were again discussed. Odyssey Board members (Lyle and Karen) and Anne will be meeting with Muhammed Okoya-Lawal on Monday, August 19, 2002 to further discuss the issues.

Odyssey received another inquiry regarding lease of the space for a daycare.

Enrollment:

Current enrollment numbers are at 237. A special thank you all of the Odyssey community members who have been sharing the news about Odyssey at the community events. We continue to become better “known” in the local area and that is effecting our student inquiries.

Staffing:

We are at full staff for the instructional program. We are continuing to review and interview candidates for our lunch supervisor position.
